Plan to walk in May (2017)
6 months ago I decided to walk Camino Frances. I booked the flight right away and now it is less than 4 months until I arrive in SJPDP. I have already made a lot of preparations and training. Planning what kind of backpack, which shoes, and I have been reading a lot on this forum, very helpful. Looking forward to the day when I take the first step on the Camino. But at the same time, thinking I have already begun my Camino. I am walking a lot, long walks by myself and enjoying it. At the same time exited to meet all fellowers on the Camino. Yesterday I visit a local restaurant, with tapas as their speciality. I talked to the waitress, who was from Barcelona, but now working and studying in Norway. I told her I was going to Spain in May to walk the Camino. She smiled and told me she also had done that. So somehow I met a Camino friend even before having start walking. But perhaps this is how it is, I have already started. In my mind and in my hear. Buen Camino.

Like I say - Camino is a drug for me and I need another dose!

I also am finding this to be true. You know, we don't have to walk 500 miles to make a pilgrimage. One can make a spiritual pilgrimage in their comfy armchair. When we finally decide to seriously make pilgrimage, we have taken the first step of a lifetime of spiritual inquiry.
I begin my Camino on April 21 at SJPDP. Perhaps our paths will cross.
Buen Camino!

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

That is something I really look forward to, meeting people from different parts of the world on my Camino. Buen Camino

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
