This forum is wonderful, lots of good information. I am a Maritimer and walked the Camino in the fall of 2009 at the age of 60 and my retirement project. It was wonderful. I have the urge to walk again but it will probably have to be next year. Buen camino.

R...welcome to the Forum and the Class of 2012!

May I suggest that you begin by checking the CSJ FAQ at top right of this page. That covers a broad range of general questions about the Camino from 1st time pilgrims. Then, go to the thread that covers the specific Camino you are considering: Camino Frances, Caminho Portuguese, Camino Ingles, etc. Great stuff there and some cool pictures representative of the stages you may decide to walk as you make your Way to Santiago.

Buen Camino,

Arn
