Hi. My name's Gill, from Edinburgh. I'm planning to walk the Via de la Plata, starting early April 2010. Thought that might be a good time -- Easter over, so not too busy, but weather still not too hot. There's so much info on this site -- thanks to all the good folk who take time to post information for newbies like me!

Welcome to the Forum. It is a good plan to go early in the year especially if you are leaving from Seville. There are a good number of forum members who have walked this route and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
