Despite how busy it is i walked many kilometers from St Jean out of sight of any pilgrims. also i did the regular route to zubiri and didn´t have any problems with the terrrain despite that it was raining some on and off and i don´t have a stick. i have never used one in the past.

i keep thinking of tips for other pelegrinos and will have to collec them and post them or send them to you! i wonder how all the other May babies are making out! haven´t met anytone else from the forum.
