And think how popular this place will be in a post-covid world, when we will all probably still be hoping to avoid large dorms! I think I stayed there on my very first camino in 2000, or at the latest in 2002. This was back in the days when I was an all-albergue girl, and it was a heavenly respite from the snoring!I too, stayed at the municipal in Cacabelos. I liked the quirky little "mini cabins"...definitely a "one of a kind" experience on the Camino Frances.

There are some good iphone filters that do very, very well without having to carry a DSLR. I'm actually considering this for my next Camino so I can reduce my gear weight by 4-5 kgs by leaving my camera at home and just using my iphone.Ah! The atrium of the church of Castroncelos (A Pobra do Brollón, Lugo) is a place of memory. Victims of fascist repression during the Spanish civil war were buried there. ARMH worked there in July 2016, under the direction of archaeologist René Pacheco. In 2018 our team also traveled there to try to recover more bodies, in a sadly failed attempt.Sorry - the text won't attach in it's translated form.

The title itself, "The Little Things" tugs at my heart.This exposition was supposed to be an in-person one, traveling all around the country, but COVID changed that. Now we can all see it virtually on this website. There is a page with a link to more videos like the one posted by @Theatregal.

That pales in comparison with some of the other long bridges in the world, but I remember feeling very uneasy after about 10 km of being suspended out over the water. It is no longer the longest bridge in Europe, that is the Crimean bridge. Still the longest in the EU thoughAt 17 km, that makes it the longest bridge in Europe! I (Anne) am also having a hard time choosing photos, that is why I went back to the start of our Portugues Caminho to see if there were some different ones that I hadn't already chosen previously!It's not that I must show off my boardwalk picture too but that the previously posted pictures help me choose what to show next (I've submitted all my San Martín photos already). I've been having a hard time picking pics lately.

Just an opinion but as they are, I like the zoomed in version more but if you cropped most of the sky off the wide angle, I think it would be a very interesting pano-like photo.I got away with this before so I'm doing it again. Two different pictures taken close together where I can't tell which is the one I like better.
