Our Camino 2013

Hello my name is Jake. My wife & I are planning to walk the Camino de Santiago in May of 2013. We have a 18 month old daughter, and have set aside 3 weeks next year for OUR Camino. I am walking for spiritual reasons, and look forward to this adventure with my wife. Last year I left her at home for one month to climb Mt Kilimanjaro, and tour Tanzania. I will never take another trip with out her.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Also does anyone know of a good site to shrink a picture to avatar size? This site denies all of the links I provide for a smaller picture. Thank you.

Hello,
My husband and I also plan to walk starting in Ponferrada in mid May next year. Perhaps we will meet. I will look for the baby and know it is you.

Hi Mark,

I don't know about the long-haul flights but if you have to make a short flight in Europe the earlier you book the better price you will get.

Buen Camino,

If you take your "Parzifal" seriously, consider beginning your camino at Jaca. The rocky countryside and craggy mountain paths of San Juan de la Peña gave rise to the myth of the Holy Grail, and are said to be the inspiration and setting for the first act of Wagner´s "Parsifal" and Lohengrin tales.
