I will fly from Cancun to Madrid, arriving Sept7. Then Alsa bus from there to Leon, two nights in Leon and start walking Sept9, first night in Villar de Mazarife. Have done the Frances fron St Jean in 2016 and the Portuguese from Porto in 2016. I don't want to do any long days and stay in some alternate towns this time.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

Really no such thing as a partial Camino, or perhaps most all Caminos are partial Caminos, as very few of us start from our own front doors.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

You’ve chosen a nice stretch. I’m doing the same late September. Did the CF from SJPP in 2017, but this time I am coordinating for 3 other people. Not enough time to do the whole thing. I will miss walking through the early stages, and strangely enough will miss the Meseta and the friendships forged there too.
