Leaving Leon on 10/1, me, (Ruben) and Andrea from San Francisco, USA. We are very excited to walk El Camino. We don't have enough time off from work to walk from France so we are doing the second half in hopefully 3 weeks. Long time ago I travel to northern Spain and shared meals and drinks with Romeros, always thinking that some day I was going to do it myself. Now the time has come. We'll see you. caminoalandar,

Welcome to the Forum!

These Forum topics and threads hold a wealth of information to help you both plan your Caminos.

Past pilgrims love to share their advice and experiences. Such sharing is a large part of the Camino spirit; besides being informative for future pilgrims it help keeps memories current for experienced pilgrims as we recall our journeys anew.

Be sure to check out what other pilgrims and I have written regarding Leon and the camino route leaving Leon in these two earlier Forum threads. >> http://www.caminodesantiago.me/comm...s-confusing-after-leon-which-way-to-go.20353/
and >> http://www.caminodesantiago.me/community/threads/where-to-get-a-credencial-in-leon.18990/

Happy planning and Buen Camino to you both,

Margaret Meredith

Hi Ruben & Andrea, greetings from Ireland. I fly from Dublin to Santander on Sunday, take a bus to Leon on Monday and begin walking also on Oct 1st. It's my first Camino and I'm so looking forward to whatever adventures and experiences this journey will bring. The rucksack has been packed and unpacked so many times this week.....I'm restless and ready to go..... Maybe our paths will cross. Regards, Gerard.
