They loved what they are doing, so I am sure that they would have posted a closing notice on their website if they were calling it quits. Be persistent as April gets closer! Many places open for the Easter rush, at least in the last 100km, so they may open earlier this year for a March Easter.:)

I emailed Corozon Puro this am and just received the following reply.

Hello,
we are going to open on 21st March. This time we try to enjoy last days of our holiday in Budapest.
Kind regards,
Istvan

I stayed with them in June and they made the beginning of my Camino as stress free as it gets. 2 Thumbs Up!

I'm told that they are on holiday. Good for them. I'll try again in March.

I got up this morning and checked my email and low and behold there was a email from Pension
Corazon. I now have a room and ride reserved. Thank you forum members

Just an FYI, Corazon Puro is in the village of Viscarret, 34 kilometers from Pamplona on the road to SJPP. One of the biggest appeals of staying with Barbara and Istvan is that they pick you up in Pamplona, take you 'home', and then drive you to SJPP the next morning. Istvan is a very mellow driver on those winding mountain roads!

I stayed there in September and they said that they close in winter because it's too cold for pilgrims, therefore so quiet along that section of the Camino. They go back to their homeland to visit family for Christmas. They're closed for about 4 months from memory, maybe s little longer. Therefore maybe they don't even check emails too often.

They are definitely in business, and they are delivering a great and needed service. A good winter holiday is also needed for them, I suppose. :) No worries, these good folks will be back in business in due time.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Wirh a name like Corazon puri I would never have imagined they are Hungarian. Good formthem to spot a need in the market and for not gouging people for their services.
