We just returned from our second Camino Frances and discovered the BEST accommodations in Muxia! Hostal/Restaurante LA CRUZ at the very entrance of the town has superb views of the ocean (it's right outside your window!), the most delicious food (fresh fish!), and the kindest, most helpful owners. We were there for 4 nights at the end of our 6 1/2-week trek and would go back there in a heartbeat. It is probably the best-kept secret of the whole Camino. The address is: Avda. Lopez Abente, 44, Muxia. The phone is: 981 74 20 84, or cell phone: 661 46 07 16. Consider visiting it--you'll not be sorry! Say Hello to Manuela Perez , the owner, for us!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
I stayed there in 2013. Nice room, very nice and friendly owners and great food. I must have looked a sorry sight as I trudged into the town after a long day's walk from Negreria because the woman came out and called to me that they had special rates for pilgrims. (I can't remember what I paid). I had arrived on the Saturday evening so as to be able to go to the church for the Sunday morning service. I was glad I did so as we all know there was the terrible fire that December.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

Hi all, At this stage looks like we are going to finish in SdC on Friday, our flight home is only Monday night. The weather forecast doesnt look to be promising - showers over the whole weekend...
