messages came from Tomas de Nanjarin and the Brazilian listowner of Caminho de Santiago
Is there anyone who can confirm this

I have been reading the paper version of La Voz de Galicia the last few days and have not heard anything about this.

I will keep an eye open and let you know if I see something.

there were several pilgrim form the last stages of the Camino who were refused entrance

Atencion noticia bomba,totalmente confirmado por peregrinos INDIGNADOS el 31 de Octubre

en la IGLESIA CATEDRAL DE SANTIAGO se nego la entrada a la misa del peregrino de las 12 horas

a varias decenas de peregrinos que pernoctaron en Arca, Santa Irene y Monte del Gozo.

No valieron suplicas,razones y lagrimas la iglesia estaba llena de turistas de fin de semana y "peregrinos de media hora"

esa fue la explicacion que les dieron aparte de con las puertas en las narices y no les dejaron entrar los servicios de seguridad.

Rogamos envien cartas de protesta a la Iglesia Catedral de Santiago,a el encargado de las peregrinaciones Don Jaime al responasble del cuerpo de seguridad y Consejo Jacobeo,asociaciones del camino y refugios del camino,prensa,radio,etc

Strange

Wow, it looks like someone was refused entry. It sounds strage that the reason was "too many people inside" since there are not that many people in Santiago these days.

Monday November 1st was a holiday in Spain and Santiago recieved some more tourists than normal, but not that many. I can not remember that the cathedral was closed in July when the city was swamped with people.

...strange indeed.
