I intend walking the route in May I have about 35 days I want to know where I stay along the way -- I hear that it is possible to stay in monasteries but how do I know ehre they are ? :?: :?
Check out the links on the homepage. I purchased the Camino Frances guide from the Confraternity of St. James in the UK, and then got the John Brierly guide, A Pilgrim's Guide to the Camino de Santiago on Amazon. When are you starting in May & from where? I start May 4 in St. Jean Pied du Port in France.
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
We also used John Brierley's Guide and found it extremely useful, with details about everything including day by day accommodation of several levels of cost and and including monasteries and albergues. I highly recommend it. I bought it from Amazon.
