Planning to make the pilgrimage???? i want to know why......

Hello, I am going to make the trip in summer 2006. I have read a few books and I scan every web sites I find. I think this is going to be a very interesting and challenging trip. I would like to ask other future pilgrims what is their motivation for making such a difficult trip. Is it for to find healing, adventure, spiritual understanding or for historical perspective?
