Time of past OR future Camino

Shalom and Greetings from what is a freezing and dust stormed Jerusalem!
Many of us walking the Camino have collected a rather alarming amount of flotsam and jetsam, souvenirs, memorabilia, irreplaceable important personal objects, Compostela(s) as well as - and – well – ah - junk. Some of us have arranged these many objects on a shelf, a wall, a window as a reminder of past events and glory and as a impetus for future assaults on Santiago. I modestly offer my own wall as an opening round and hope that many others will add their own collection.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Our mementoes are spread around the house and mixed in with other trip ones too. Plus we have a still-frameless picture painted by a special forum member (who can reveal their identity if they wish!) which sits above our local map on which we mark off hikes we've done. Additionally, we have a whole shelf full of trip journals, credentials and compostelas!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

I am just in the process of doing mine Scruffy. I love your display. My first priority was getting DVDs of my Camino walk made for my family's Christmas stockings.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

This is the bit of wall where mine is going to go, does that count? ;)
Welcome Steve, I see you're going in Sept. It's a wonderful time of year. My CF was Sept/Oct 2015 and it could not have been better. Of course there are never guarantees with weather but I think you'll find it very doable and less crowded. Wish you Buen Camino

Cheers Maggie for your kind words. It's one of the things I love about this forum. Must admit I can't wait.
Funny thing is I was already planning on where I could hang my compostella and passport months ago when I first booked my time off work.
Regards
Steve.

And when you begin the hanging, you get to live it all over again. You'll never be quite the same. BTW I'm partial to the name Steve; it's my son's name.

I don't think I was ever the same to begin with to tell the truth. :).
Stephen = Son of kings. Your obviously a lady with great taste.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Thanks Steve. Nice to receive a compliment. Just a point and shoot with my phone. Most of my photos are not much cop. When I chose that one for the wall as it was toss up between that and another as they were the only two that seemed to highlight the long, sometimes seemingly endless road! I put the other here you to decide if I chose the right one.

You definitely picked the right one.
It tells story. I'm no expert but it has depth with the trail disappearing off into the horizon, action with the pilgrims walking away from the camera and foreground interest with the yellow arrow way marker. Like I said, great photo.

Excellent posts!

Here's the corner of the shelf in my office:

Simple. Just my credential, a map I picked up towards the end, my shell, my compostella, and a lino-block I cut for some prints after I returned home.
