I hope her family know about this. Not that it would be any consolation, but a place, sufficiently far from the actual crime scene, where her life is remembered.

I am reminded of the wonderful words of Ataturk after Gallipoli:

"You, the mothers who sent their sons from faraway countries, wipe away your tears; your sons are now lying in our bosom and are in peace. After having lost their lives on this land they have become our sons as well."
