Hi,

I was wondering how easy it is to start walking from Porto Airport on the Portugese Camino?

Has anyone on here done it before?

Thanks in advance.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
If you go directly from the airport to the Camino then you'll miss out on the city of Porto itself which would be such a shame. Catch the bus into the city, chill out and play tourist for a day and then catch the metro out to Matoshinos and start walking up the coast (if that's the CP you intend to take).

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Thanks Jeff - The only reason I want to walk from the airport is that I am in Porto 2 weeks prior to mY starting the Camino. I am there with work and will have a couple of days being a tourist then.

Luck you! No need to go near the airport then - the metro idea stands though plus there's a tourist office on the sea front where you can pick up a stamp and, if they have them in stock, maps of the camino.

Enjoy, it's a lovely country and Caminho.

Thanks for you sugestions.
