I walked from Ponferrada to Santiago and I then Madrid for three days just returned this week! Have to admit I did find some parts a little tough 3 days of rain at the end! But am so thankful I did it! Buen Camino

Forum was big help and memories will help me sleep whenever necessary. Did not feel any emotions except great appreciation of the wonderful Galician countryside . However , getting my credentials in Santiago I was overwhelmed with emotion . Knees hurt on downhills after extensive training but so what . Poles,Vaseline, good trekking shoes and great day ending wine with new friends.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
