Hi I've had 4 amazing days cycling on the camino. I started in Logrono and am sleeping in Molinaseca tonight beautiful place. I should cycle to Sarria tomorrow and then fly home early from Santiago on Friday.
The only snag is that I rented my bike from nava rent in Logrono and they will only pick up bikes from Leon and then Santiago. Nothing in between.
Does anyone know which trains or buses accept bikes on board?
Thanks

Monbus (www.monbus.es) makes the route from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela (just one bus an not daily) and from Sarria to Lugo too. What they say about bike transport can be found at: www.monbus.es/en/frequently-asked-questions/27/is-it-possible-to-transport-bicycles-surfboards-skies-musical-instruments
Empresa Freire (www.empresafreire.com) makes the route from Lugo to Santiago de Compostela. What they say about bike transport can be found at: www.empresafreire.com/html/ingles/seccion2.php

By train, you can transport them on Regional, Regional Express and MD trains. The number of bikes can be limited (e.g.: in MD trains I think that the maximum number of bikes allowed are 3). A specific ticket for the bike is needed, if I'm not wrong. The route to Santiago de Compostela isn't direct.

Thanks
I couldn't get wifi for a while so I missed your post. I ended up taking a bus to Lugo with the bike but the train to Santiago from Lugo would not accept bikes so I took another bus from Lugo and the driver agreed to taking the bike too as long as I paid another ticket for it 2euro70 or something so it worked out ok. Luckily I was the only one with a bike as the luggage hold was v full!
