I'm just wondering if you used any kind of special socks or insoles to decrease the burning sensation on the bottoms of your feet?
It's not something that bothers me all the time, but after trying several pairs of shoes I realized that I will not find a magic pair of shoes that I can walk totally pain free in. It really just affects the balls of my feet and my toes.
I've seen some insoles on Amazon that are for people with sensitive feet, specifically for reducing pressure on parts of the foot. They all seem to be made with a material called Plastazote .

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
At night after a few days walking my feet ache, and I rub arnica cream into the soles
Maybe could help you

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hi there, as a physio I've seen quite a few patients experiencing symptoms from neuropathy. As you already now wearing tight shoes/socks usually makes the symptoms worse so for your case I would probably wear slightly wider boots and also bring some hiking sandals, that way you can alternate the two. Unfortunately I don't know of any special socks that would help.

Good luck and Buen Camino!
