Camino Português (2016), going again on Camino Português (25 July 2017)
Last year, I started my Camino Portuguese in Ponte de Lima, but unfortunately, for personal reasons, I had to return home, making Porrino my last stop... This year I would like to pick where I left off!
Can I use the same Credencial de Peregrino? Will I still be able to get the Compostela?
Thank you in advance to anyone who can answer my question!

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
Yes - you can use the same credencial. Many people make their journeys in stages this way. Just make sure that you get your credencial stamped and dated in Porrino when you begin again so you do not have a gap in your record.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I remember a rule about stamps being geographically consecutive. It is just your case, so no problem.
Apart from personal or health problems, not everybody has month-long vacations...Some of us have to deal with the available weeks, walk as much as possible and restart next time.

I have done this a few times and have experienced no problems - if fact , thinking about it , It seals your intentions and credibility.

Use the same Credencial and make sure that you get two stamps on the last 100km (if you want a Compostela). Buen Camino and welcome to the forum, SY

I met an American woman on the Frances this year who had done the first bit of this camino 16 years ago as a member of a youth group, and who was back on the road again with her original credential. She actually also had a new credential that she was getting stamped as well, in case they would not accept her old one. I told her the original was all she needed!

Did you meet Bjørn Krohn? Died aged 48 in an albergue, I don't know where, tuesday 21th. I didn't know this until now.
I am wondering how you disconnect, in part, from the world. I have a couple of reasons that I need to be accessible but, I don't want to be constantly connected on this journey. Ideas?
