I only just realised that this 1st Festival de Camino de Santiago y Cine y Television doesn´t seem to have been mentioned on the Forum up to now. Lydia Smith will be presenting the European Premiere of The Camino Documentary (Walking the Camino/Buen Camino) on June 7th. I shall be part of a discussion group on the 4th. We will be talking about the influence of the media/books on the development of the Camino. I am waiting for the final info and will post here. Admission to the film is 3 euros and to the "tertulia" free.
If you are in Compostela next week, you are in for a rare treat (i.e. Tracy Saunders in a cocktail dress and 4" heels!!!). See you there.
Right, wellies on and back to the Pilgrim Garden at The Little Fox House...pilgs on their way.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
John is right; it is Thursday 6th at 8 not the 7th which I´ve had in my daytimer for weeks now! It has always been referred to as "the Friday!" Thanks for the correction John, I would have been right p'd off had I showed up a day late!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Had the opportunity to attend an advance showing on film last night while in Santiago.

Highly recommend if you are in Santiago June 6 to buy a couple of tickets and attend this excellent movie and documentary

Just imagine that.....wearing high heels and all for nothing!

Yes it was very good indeed. Possibly the most realistic depiction yet of many aspects of the pilgrimage. Well worth seeing.

I must admit however that I feel that the Way and many camino documentaries just don't capture the profound history and tradition of the pilgrimage and the power of the spiritual transformation in pilgrims' lives.

Maybe its just too difficult - a very good reason to keep walking the real thing ourselves!

A good documentary - showing in Santiago in the Teatro Principal, Rua Nova ( parallel to the street where the Pilgrims; Office is) on 6th June at 8pm Tickets 3€

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.
