Time of past OR future Camino
camino frances 2012/2013
last year. I started my first camino, I felt I was prepared for every eventuality. result.. to much stuff in my pack.
I took a fall and wasn't able to continue, so had to go home.
I wanted to finish so next saturday I travel back to Spain, (carrion de los condes)
My preparation this year is lacking.. result lighter pack and less nerves.
last year I had 1goal MAKE IT TO SANTIAGO, this year my goal is: ENJOY MYSELF!!

Thanks for your post - it could not have arrived at a better time (I leave for Spain in 5 days). Buen Camino!

Recommend you stay at albergue run by the sisters next door to the Church of Santa Maria in Carrion De Los Condes. It was a highlight of my Camino. Enjoy your journey! Monica

I will be travelling for 22h so 5min ago booked a hotel room:D I remember the snoring and people waking up Early!!
So I give myself 1night of good sleep:p
While writing this, there is a rerun of a documentary of the camino on tv, I have flashbacks of sore feet and feeling tired :p

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I too sadly had to stop, in early June at nearly the same place! I was heartbroken. Am planning a restart from Poblacion de Campo in May, with even lighter rucksack;) and with a song in my heart. Wish you well and step carefully!

Look at the bright side, you´ve been able to return and continue your Camino. Hopefully you´ll reach Santiago de Compostela ,take part in the peregrino
mass, hug the Santiago himself and get your "compostela". And who knows return yet again to continue on a different Camino.:)

Buen Camino!

my pack is in the hallway waiting to be carried allover Spain!!
