Skipping stages

Time of past OR future Camino
plan (2017)
Hola, first time pilgrim here.
I just have walked Porto - Povoa - Esposende and then jumped to Central way and walked Valenca - Porrino - Redondela. I got invitation from college friend to spend couple days with her (been ages!) and fam in the next 2 days, before I leave for home. Can I skip some stages from Redondela to Santiago but still eligible for Comppstela? If yes, any recommendations what stages to skip?
Muchas gracias!

If you want the Compostela then you will have to start from Tui. For the Compostela you will need to walk the last 100k and prove this by getting two sellos per day.

In other words, you MUST walk the continuous last 100 Km to qualify for a Compostela. Coming up from Portugal this usually means from Tui.

From your explanation above, you must return to Redondela and proceed on to Santiago from there. It is three days typically: Redondela, Caldas de Rei, Padron... and then into Santiago. Chronological breaks are permitted.

Don't forget to get TWO STAMPS per day for this last 100 km. As long as the stamps show a continuous progression rom Tui / Valenca to Santiago, you should have no problem.

I hope this helps.
