The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
I'll take that type of traffic jam over the ones we get on the highway any day! :D

Like the cows we caught up with - about 50 of them - heading for their summer pastures in the mountains. They expected to take 5 hours to get there and fortunately, with the aid of their cattle drovers, we were able to get past as at the time we were in a car. Their horns caused some concern in case they lowered their heads  but in fact they just looked at the car as we passed :)
We have been walking behind sheep on the Camino too, but not for long as they turned off the path. All part of being in the countryside.

Lovely picture of past times, when things went slower.

I have watched your video of SJPP's Citadelle. Beautiful, too. Have you visited the Ciudadela in Pamplona? Bigger but mutilated in the first decades of the 20th century in order to open the city. And I'd suggest to visit the Ciudadela of Jaca (on Camino Aragonés).
