I got stuck in one of these jams on the way up to Orisson last year. Sat on a rock in the middle of the highway while the traffic went round me. It was time for a rest anyway!

Like the cows we caught up with - about 50 of them - heading for their summer pastures in the mountains. They expected to take 5 hours to get there and fortunately, with the aid of their cattle drovers, we were able to get past as at the time we were in a car. Their horns caused some concern in case they lowered their heads but in fact they just looked at the car as we passed
We have been walking behind sheep on the Camino too, but not for long as they turned off the path. All part of being in the countryside.

Lovely picture of past times, when things went slower.
I have watched your video of SJPP's Citadelle. Beautiful, too. Have you visited the Ciudadela in Pamplona? Bigger but mutilated in the first decades of the 20th century in order to open the city. And I'd suggest to visit the Ciudadela of Jaca (on Camino Aragonés).
