Starting Camino late Sept!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hi Shanice and David,
Not sure if I will have the honour to meet you as I am walking Camino Frances on my own beginning in SJDP on 29th September. It’s my first time and I really don’t know what to expect other than I’m not listening to my fears and worries, I’m listening to so many on this forum who say all will be well. Good luck! Buen camino!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
I'm from Los Angeles and I'm starting my 1st Camino solo on Sept 25th from SJPDP. Hopefully it will be busy enough that I won't be walking alone. I'm super excited and looking forward to meeting fellow pilgrims!
Hi Shanice. I will be a few days ahead of you also beginning from SJPP on September 21st. I will also be solo. From all the posts I am reading on Facebook groups and the postings within this website I don't believe you'll be alone much of the time. Hope to meet ya on the Camino. Buen Camino

Hi Luap,
Unfortunately, I can only take 3 weeks off work, so I will only do half and come back next year for the 2nd half of the Camino. I anticipate meeting many great pilgrims and will be sad not being able to continue the journey. No worries. I am sure you will have the most amazing experience!
Buen Camino!

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Hopefully see some of you along the way I’m starting from SJPdP on the 21st but planning a leisurely start, stopping at Auberge Borda the first night so I can make the most of my time on the hills, I hope they have plenty of wine 🍷🤣 buen camino mi amigos

Great time of year, IMO. Mostly good weather, the heat of Summer should be gone. Lots of great peregrinos. Pub crawl (pintxos and wine) in Logrono and Burgos, incomparable. Prepare for wind on the Meseta, and rain in Galicia, and one of the greatest experiences in life. Buen Camino.
I can't wait! I can only do half of the Camino this year so I won't get as far as Galicia, but I am bringing a light rain jacket just in case.

HaHa! There are no 'half Caminos'.

I understand completely! I meant "half" as in distance like trying to summit a mountain. I know the Camino will be more of a journey of the mind.

Hi, I started 3 Caminos at this time and crowds were ok, weather was a mix, but you adapt to that, and I wouldn’t hesitate again.
To all of you starting off, have fun, I can’t describe how envious I am.

Fantastic, you’ll have the time of your life. As you have probably gathered, you’ll connect with people right away and they will become your Camino family.
Buen Camino 🚶🏼‍♀️

One thing I do believe is that those who have the time to do the whole pilgrimage in one go, like me, do not hold a monopoly on true satisfaction and completion. We are all equally rewarded as being members of the Camino family when we were meant to be there, regardless of length of time. Good luck and buen camino! X
