I'm second guessing myself about clothing to pack. Females, help! I sweat a lot so I've planned for lots of moisture wicking shorts and shirts.

I'm starting Friday the 6th too. I thought I was sorted regarding what I was bringing then I read some posts regarding weather last year (i believe it was cold the beginning of june) and now I'm back to square one! You sound like you have it sorted regarding clothing so long as they are easy to wash and quick drying you should have no problem

Hi I start my camino too on the 5th of June and I'm wondering how the weather is, do I need mitts for the morning?

I would like to know this as well. I was thinking all shorts, but now it sounds like I need to pack pants.

If your hands are cold to begin use a pair of socks as mittens. One pair of lightweight long pants is a GOOD idea. You do NOT need or want to carry lots of anything; one set to wear walking, another set to put on after your shower and one spare are enough. Items that can be layered are most useful for comfort in varying temperatures.

Nothing once worn walking is ever truly clean or dry or tidy; reality is often a gradation of grey and damp and mess. The height of camino chic is a pair of matching hiking socks.
