Hi All,

My name is Peter, and I'm flat feet 173-174cm tall, and depending on what I had previous night, weight around 85kg, been wanting to walk the Camino ever since I finished West Highland Way in Scotland back in 05'.

Currently operating a Sushi-bar in Melbourne, Australia, plan to do the Camino 2010. Will be more than glad to receive any hints/advice !

Cheers Mate ! 8)

Welcome Peter

You are already quite an experienced walker if you have walked the WHW in Scotland. I suppose the main difference between walking in Scotland and Spain (depending on the time of the year) is the weather. I'd love to hear how you got on in Scotland. You'll find lot's of good information in the Forum.

Hi John,

I found this site on Google, lots of very good information to read, and many inspiring stories too !
WHW was fantastic ! totally enjoy it ! I did it during early October 05', was a 7 days walk, only had 3 days of rain, so, count myself lucky.. the only regret was not climb Ben Nevus in the last day near Fort William, was getting dark and rain was coming down...

I'm excited to be able to walk the Camino, am planing to start in La Puy, France. Its gonna be a hell of a long walk !

will bugg you for more info before i go, if you don't mind :D :D

cheers !!!

Peter.
