We fly out in 36 hours.
So many of you have helped, in too many ways to count. You have listened to my fears, helped me pack (and repack and ...), held my hand, recommended equipment, offered encouragement and pulled me down from the ceiling.

I have felt the care from this community.

Now, you should know I have the forum app on my phone. Not posting on the Camino, but I know if I really need help, this community will be here for me. Thank you all for the peace of mind.

Hugs.

PS. I'll post when my Camino is finished, regardless of where / when it happens.

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
I am envious, you are going to have a wonderful experience. Take a deep breath, try and forget everything that you have pondered and weighed, fretted over, and second guessed, and try to live in the moment. Oh, and look after those feet.

Buen Camino

Awesome! And remember, you are NOT going to be alone, this group is "getting underway" from St Jean on September 9th [see link below]:

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Have a wonderful time, and remember to look up at the sky when you're standing by, but down at your feet when it gets steep (edited for "steep" not step)!

I am a late September walker, so will miss most of you, but I'll be on your heels soon enough.

Buen Camino!

St James' Way - Self-guided 4-7 day Walking Packages, Reading to Southampton, 110 kms
Buen Camino, Jo, it's been fun 'walking' with you as you planned your Camino. Know that many of us will be walking with you as you make your Way.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
