I want to take a moment to THANK all the VETERAN posters of this forum who have, over time, provided us with so much information, and of course, a special Thank You to Ivar for your dedication and hard work.

A forum is only as good as its members' contributions, and I personally read most of the posts related to the Camino Frances a few years ago as I was getting ready to walk for the first time. Now, as a pilgrim, I still read most new posts and try to contribute as a thank you.

You have all provided us with ideas, feedback, opinions, and insight -
I suspect I speak for many in thank you all!
Buen Camino

Hear, hear Aldy. We all start off lurking and reading, then asking questions, then walking, then contributing and answering questions. It is the way the camino works!

But the biggest thanks of all has to go to Ivar. He set this forum up for the only reason that he wanted to help pilgrims. Often he has had to use his own money to keep it going. We should all remember the donations button!

Quite right! So many people say that the forum has helped them, and many more people will still be 'lurking' but getting useful advice. I admit I haven't donated any money because I don't have any, but have tried to give back to the Camino in other ways. Buen Camino!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I agree. Thanks to all who helped me embark successfully on what is now a raison d'etre for me, but especially to Ivar who has made it all possible. Perhaps he should change his name to "DemiGod"? And now we have also got our mobile app access! I am sure that donations have helped this to happen so if you have not yet donated please do so if you can.

Absolutely agree. Thank you.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

Yes, the biggest thanks goes to Ivar!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
From a newbie who is less than 90 days from his first Camino and is about to sew his brand-new forum badge on the backpack this weekend, a hearty virtual THANK YOU hug :D
