I recently returned from Santiago while there the above Exhibition was recommended to me. After many weeks walking mostly alone (on the Levante) Santiago can be a very hectic place.

This Exhibition takes place in the very avant garde collection of buildings Cidade da Cultura de Galica. This set of buildings designed by the renowned architect, member of The New York Five, Peter Eiseman, is in itself well worth experiencing.

The Exhibition free to pilgrims with a compestella. It starts in the Hejudk Towers with a collection of worn out footwear and moves to the main Museum. It traces the History of the way, has precious Artworks. Then ends with interview with Pilgrims. Well worth getting away from the crowds for a few hours.

This complex is a few kilometres out of Santiago on the hill, you will see the curved building in the distance. I walked there and got the bus back. I would not advise walking, you think you are beside it and have to go around and around. Get the no 9 bus.

An information leaflet is very well displayed in the Pilgrim office. I was amazed at how little Pilgrims are going to it. It is different and a nice way to spend half a day.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Here is further info about The Way exhibit in this thread begun by Ivar.

Too bad that there is no catalogue available and that the show will close in September.
