Tip for precaution another broken bone in the feet

Time of past OR future Camino
2009,2019,2022, 2023
2024
Hello everybody, i walked the camino frances several times and i have problems with fatigue fractures in my foot. I want to ask if someone of you have experiences and other tips how can I prevent it? Perhaps also tips for hiking shoes a.s.o.
This year it´s the second time I got a fatigue break and I had to interrupped my walk... That made me very sad, but my intention to walk next year again is bigger than ever. I would be happy to get some ideas. Thank you so much. Ultreia.Katrina

Absolutely see a general doctor for a bone density measurement, and then a podiatrist for possible alternatives/treatments.

It's really hard to say without knowing anything about you. The weight of your pack could play a role. It could be your shoes or insoles. It could be your stride. It could be over training or under training. Probably best to start with your doctor.
