There is a rash of posts and comments regarding women pilgrims traveling alone.
1. You may want to read this travel advisory to put things in context. There is an equivalent advisory on this American site.
2. I wanted to post because the American advisory says, a couple of links deep, that solo women should refrain from divulging their whereabouts to strangers. May I point out that many solo women travelers have posted that (a) they travel alone and (b) where they will be on a specific date.
I certainly do not want to contribute to what appears to be largely unfounded worries (unless you plan to get wasted in Ibiza and drink whatever guys offer), but assuming that this forum is read only by nice people is putting faith where it should not.
