Traveling the Camino in September 2012

My name is Deborah and I'm from Irvine, California.
I will be walking the Camino starting in Astorga around the 20th of September.
If anyone has any useful information that they can provide in regards to
accomodations and sites along the way, I would really appreciate your input.

Hi there. I'm hitting St Jean Pied de Port on the 17th Sept. Staying two nights at L’Esprit du Chemin and heading off on the 19th. Might see you on the track. I'm an Aussie 41 yr old male walking on my own.

Thank you for the site link. It has been very helpful. I just ordered my Pilgrim passport from a US site tonight. It makes it all more real to be getting this. My daughter has me out hiking in preparation and to make sure the boots are completely broken in. I was planning on starting around the 20th, but may be a week earlier. I seem to find conflicting mileage. Does anyone know the actual camino miles from Astorga to Santiago de Compostela?
