Sorry, I don't have that experience. I'm assuming (from your profile) that this it is your first Camino. I can see that there is logic in starting in the north, in September, in order to avoid the worst heat in southern Spain. However, I would expect the experience to be quite lonely - you will probably never see anyone a second time. You should probably have GPS and tracks on your phone to help with navigation since it will be easy to miss signs. I'm just pointing these factors out in case you are not aware of them, not to discourage you otherwise. :)

I met a number of people who were walking or cycling the VDLP in reverse in October/November. I think they were enjoying it and it must feel good to head toward the warmth of Andalusia as winter sets in.
It's true that you'll meet different people every night at the albergues. But I think you'll find it easy to connect with them. On this uncrowded Camino, I think that most pilgrims are receptive to encounters with new people. You also get to enjoy brief encounters and exchanges of information with pilgrims who are heading north. I think you should have a great time.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
