Video: More than 110.000 pilgrims so far this year

According to a report on TVG today, over 110.000 pilgrims have arrived to Santiago so far this year.

The number comes from a study made by the University of Santiago, and uses number of nights stayed at albergues to measure the number of pilgrims (not the number of compostelas).

10% More pilgrims than last year

For those who read Galego, here is a pdf.file of the research done.

While everyone is complaining about overcrowding it seems that there are only 10% more pilgrims than last year.
