This is a 309 km walk. I´d consider it on the "too much" side, but yes, it is doable. If you see the guides, they generally propose a 25 km average, which I feel is what most pilgrims do. But it is up to you.
Do consider alternatives, for example Astorga, or even better, Ponferrada. Actually, after Leon there are two days by the "Páramo", a not specially interesting landscape.
Buen camino!

Thank you Felipe.i will take up your suggestion as the route is completely new to me.never done it before.now my question would be how to get to ponferada?is it a nice pat from there?

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
Go to Leon's bus terminal, it is not far from downtown, the other side of the river, and conveniently near the train station.
Ask at ALSA buses http://www.alsa.es No need really to make reservations, there are many options.

You can fly from either London / Gatwick on Easyjet or London/ Stanstead on Ryanair to Santiago and then take a RENFE train to Ponferrada.

Thank you guys for your information.i looked up on flying to zaragoza and from there i would assume to get somehow to ponferada.that seems the easiest way how to get to starting line.
Although this also seems little bit hard work.wondering if this is a good way.

Yes it is part of the Camino Frances. In most guidebooks Leon to Santiago is covered from Etapa 18/ Section 18 and onward while Ponferrada to Santiago is discussed in Etapa 22/Section 22 and higher numbered sections. I have walked the Camino Frances many times; see my personal comments/photos of these sections here.

Ponferrada to Santiago (~210km) is perfectly possible in 10 days even if you are only averagely fit. And it is a beautiful walk, I have done it.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Great.so it looks as i could make the distance quite easily.now the question is how to get to ponfertafa. The starting line.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
