Walking and Riding

For years I very much have wanted to do the Camino, and now want to actually make the move. To be realistic, and recognize my limitations, I am starting at Leon, and allowing 2 weeks to get to Santiago. My partner is really fit and will walk the whole way, but my physical limitations mean that I will walk some sectors - as many as I can - but will have to take a bus on some sectors, especially those with prolonged climbing.
I know this isn't purist, but I must do the best I can.
Any advice on sectors that would be difficult and might have bus transport? I think the last 100k fits into this category, or maybe only some of it. I am quite ok on reasonably flat/undulating ground, and have endurance.
Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Camino Way markers in Bronze
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I think that most would agree that you do your own Camino within your abilities and limitations.
Walk all that you can and do the rest how you must.
There is section before and past O'Cebreiro that involves some pretty steep and long climbs.
You will do fine.
 
2024 edition: The Brierley Camino Frances Guide
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
If you have a chance, look at the John Brierley guide to the Camino Frances - his stage descriptions detail not only the distance but the elevation, level of difficulty, and whether the route is on road, path or dirt. Would be very helpful in your planning...
