Walking in Christmas 2014

I will be walking from Logroño on the 22 December to Leon. Does anyone have experiences walking this section of the Camino in Christmas? Will there be some Alberges open in that stage?

Will there be some Alberges open in that stage?

Call ahead for the smaller towns. They close spontaneously! Check internet websites to find the ones that will be closed for sure. The xunta albergues will need a phone call in order to open the building, for example. Heating may not be turned on, so plan for interior temperatures the same as exterior temperatures. Restaurants also may be closed. Buen camino.
