I noticed on a map on wikiloc that the path indicated was not the same as the shell path it deviated a bit is that a problem with getting stamps? also how could you follow the shell version instead of the wikiloc one? and would there be any reason that it was deviated from ? ( the whole Sanabres route 992kms on wikiloc)

is there an option somewhere to get all the variations on one gps I use OsmAnd very very exceptional would have been totally lost without it has all the fine detail others miss.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Well, I have followed a few wikiloc routes on camino, and most are off at some point. If the person recording it leaves the marked trail (misses a marker, gets lost, takes a shortcut, pops into a bypassed village to buy something - you get the idea) then that wikiloc will be off.

Best to just follow the markers on the ground, the markings on the Sanabres are excellent. If you do get lost the wikiloc files will help you get back to the marked route.

And no, you can get stamps wherever you want, it does not need to be actually 'on camino'.

Hope this helps

I have appreciated using the "Wise Pilgrim Guides" apps for the various Caminos. The GPS is very handy and shows alternate trails with a high degree of accuracy. Not sure if this helps what you are looking for.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

not the same as the shell path
What is the shell path? The cathedral does not approve particular routings as a pre-requisite for getting a compostela. Local associations mark paths to help pilgrims make their way to Santiago. If you walk a variation, that is fine - you just need to demonstrate that you have walked the last 100 km into Santiago.

thanks Davey good advice that is what we did on the camino this year when the yellow arrows conflicted with each other on the way to Picaraña

So I am hoping that the real route then is a little shorter than the wikiloc one :)
