I've just spent the last four hours looking for lodging in Santiago on the weekend of October 8 and 9 and came up with ZIP! Finally, I found a room (but shared bath) so snapped it up, but ten minutes later heard back from a couple who have a vacation home (VRBO.com) and will be happy to let her place for 110 Euros/nt. If interested or if desperate, let me know,
