I was told a horrific story today (although she handled it like an Amazon) story of one woman and her dog walking the Camino to raise awareness for a topic I will post elsewhere. As you know, walking with an animal these days is fraught with difficulties. Her tent was damaged beyond repair by some drunken... how shall I put it nicely?...who also threw fireworks on the tent. Apparently the people at the bar close by - where she had eaten earlier - did not want to get involved...
Asi es el Camino en nuestros tiempos...(Trans: This is today's Camino) especially the last 100 klms I am very sorry to say and will say no more at this point....

Tracy, apparently your website address has been hijacked by a wacko Bible prophecy outfit. Pls. check your link. (Or maybe I am losing my mind, and Jesus really IS coming back next week to judge the living and the dead!)

AY POR DIOS!!! I shall have to do something about this muy pronto. Thanks for letting me know.
Looks like the yobbos and houligans are in cyberspace too.
EDIT: you can access it via the website with this link

Better get back to the topic now....or Matron´ll get her wrist smacked.
EDIT later: All seems to be back to normal. How very bizarre! Anyway, the one good thing today has been how very supportive and helpful everyone has been.
My mother used to say "Worse things happen at sea".
And as far as the topic is concerned...let's hope this was just a one off in Eireixo.
