Interesting! Near the end they also.mention currency exchange as a service. I know there are sometimes questions here about that topic. Has anyone ever tried that service?

I haven’t tried the currency exchange service but was in a Correos location this week and saw a sign announcing that Santander bank services would now be offered in all Correos so Santander is who the currency exchanges are run through.

Correos don't seem to be publishing the detailed prices online. The web page about the service simply says that there are two different price ranges according to weight.

Back in 2019 I wanted to leave some items in Pamplona on the way through to St. Jean and then pick them up again after walking back from St. Jean, swap them for other items and ship the excess to Santiago de Compostela.

I asked at the main post office about left luggage and at that stage they said that they couldn't do it and so I asked them about sending items to a post office and, of course, they said yes and so I asked them about sending a parcel to the same post office and after a bit of a chat amongst themselves they said that they couldn't think of a reason not to do it and so I sent it to myself at the same post office and picked up the parcel a couple of days later when I walked back.
