yes...
I'm thinking of getting one... but is it one of those things that sounds like a good idea but will never be used?

many thanks in advance :)

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
LesBras, I considered that too - but didn't bring one - and was glad about that! In albergues when you kind of queu up to wash your clothes, it is not quite easy (or polite!) to step up to the persons doing their chores and ask for a water fill - or a request to empty it again. Only my thought, though.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
Albergues have several plastic wash tubs at the deep sinks, also no need to bring a drain plug.

LesBras, I bought one before my first Camino ..tried it out...it failed miserably..but that could be more because I'm so clumsy and can kill everything even if it's from plastic...gave it away as a raffleprize....:). Enough outside sinks to wash your clothes...after two weeks on the Camino you only care for cleaning socks and underwear anyway..:p

Apply the multiple use rule recommended by many on the forum: does the sink have a second or third use? Probably not. Better to save money and weight and substitute a plastic bag for the sink (or wash your things in the shower each night -- place them in a hanging mesh bag, soak, add soap, knead, rinse, wring out, hang to dry).

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
You can also use the plastic wash tubs in the albergue for that too.

... or the black plastic garbage bag some carry inside their packs as an internal waterproof layer, or a dry place to sit on wet ground, or an emergency poncho, or some other use ... (smile)

Thanks all for the feedback... I think I've decided I dont need one... but I would like one... but I dont need one

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
