I fly out tomorrow and hope to be starting my walk on Thursday from SJPDP. Still feeling some anxiety about doing this solo, but that's part of adventure. This Forum and all of the generous members who post their thoughts have been a tremendous source of encouragement - especially those times when I felt a bit wobbly about it all. Thank you so much.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

Buen Camino Suzanne! I really do believe you are going to have a wonderful time.

Getting to SJPP and walking to Santiago is the easy part. Just wait until you return home and try to explain what you have done to people who 1) have no idea what in blazes you are talking about 2) can't believe how much you enjoyed it all and 3) cannot believe that you want to do it again!
Buen Camino!

Have a great time ...I really envy you. This week 2 years ago I landed alone in Biarritz. I left SJPP next morning and was never alone for the next 29 days to Santiago! Best thing I ever did and made friends for life. Enjoy.....I just wish I could be in your shoes once more. Ger

Sitting in the airport waiting for my flight. Feeling less alone and more certain of everything - thanks to you very kind people. How fortunate I am! Thank you.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Suzanne I wish you a heartfelt Buen Camino. As others have said, you will not be alone….really. I too will be solo (three weeks and counting) but am also looking forward to sharing part of the way with others, as I know you will too.
