Hello All,

Just wondering what are the options available for the journey from the airport in Santiago to Sarria. An window of opportunity has opened, fights to Santiago booked, how do I get to Sarria to start my adventure? I arrive in Santiago on Tuesday 28th. All advice, positive, welcomed for a first timer with limited time scale.

Thanking you in advance.

Ivan

As per the links above: simply buy your (very cheap) ticket from the bus driver at Santiago airport.

When you get off at Lugo, go into the bus station and buy your (similarly cheap) Monbus ticket for Sarria from the ticket counter.

(This jet lagged pilgrim accidentally handed over British coins, to the amusement (thankfully) of the lovely woman on the ticket desk. She was also very helpful, through sign language, about where the bus would pull in.)
