Accommodation in Porto

Time of past OR future Camino
Frances in 2016, Portuguese in 2017, and Frances again in 2018. Madrid to Ponferrada 2019.
I will be in Porto for 3 nights prior to beginning my Camino April 14th to 17th. Forum members have provided recommendations for Albergue De Peregrinos and for Gallery Hostel. Any thoughts you have as I decide between the two would be appreciated. Thanks

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
Hostels that are not pilgrim specific can be quite noisy, with lots of young people in town for good partying. I learned my lesson in Barcelona. I stayed two nights in the pilgrim albergue in Senora de la Hora. The hopitalero couple is lovely. The albergue is on the metro line that goes from the center of town to the airport, so that is convinient.

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.
I stayed in the albergue de peregrinos last March. Very basic but adequate. At 5 users who can complain.. No one else was there that night. It is in a small separate building behind a seminary. You are given a key which you need to return in the morning. It is off the beaten track and it took me a while to find it.

Thanks for responding. I wonder if it's still the same because folks are saying this one is only about 6 or 8 months old?

Hello, I lost my GoPro with all my pictures on the Camino between Pedra Furada and Aborim last week. Is there a lost and found in SDC? Any other ideas? Thanks and Buen Camino.
