I completed the SW Coast Path in 2005 and it's been amazing, apart for the wind which was constant.
 
I read the article it looks wonderful but doesn't have the albergue type accommodation.

I'm walking St.Cuthberts Way in the Scottish borders this August. Only 62 miles but it's going to be beautiful. And, St.Cuthbert was a real living person. No made up stuff.

I loved St Cuthbert's Way, and Lindisfarne is very special. Here's a piece I wrote about the last section, with links to the previous ones:

 
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
You would probably have to stay in expensive B&Bs most of the way, and you'd need to book in advance during summer.

Would be awesome if they did have albergue style accommodation, but I can't see it ever happening in England.
