I always hike, work, and play with a buff around my wrist, so I naturally brought on on my first camino. Aside from its #1 intended purpose (wiping the sweat from my face), it’s been essential for me so many times. It’s a hand towel, because so may bars and albergues don’t have paper towels or...
I have a big head! I find the buff brand is tight and usually I can only stand it for a short period of time as it feels like a vies grip on my head. I love the versatility of the buff, wouldn’t think of not having one but does anyone know of one that fits a bit larger?
Hola all,
I have a strange question.... it is regarding the word "Buff". What I mean is the clothing that one puts over ones head, like a scarf, but sown into a circle. Many of you have used it on the Camino I am sure.
I sell them on my store, but today got a message from a representative of...
@Wendy Werneth and I are leaving Lisbon tomorrow on the overnight train to Madrid, staying a night in Madrid to see some friends, taking the train to Oviedo on Thursday and starting the Camino Primitivo on Friday! Today I bought a new buff to celebrate the start of a new camino!
I will be sending out the buffs to those who have ordered one through me over the past several weeks.
Should anyone else be interested, I have many more on stock.
The subject of this post is that marvelous piece of gear called the Buff, which incidentally is made in Spain, which somehow makes it even more appropriate for the El Camino. There are many types of Buffs, the UV Buff, the Reflective Buff, the Insect Shield Buff, the Wool Buff, but I went with...
Buffs arrived yesterday and were sent out today by regular mail (i.e. no tracking otherwise exorbitant).
Please be patient as they are coming from The Netherlands.
I realise I might be the last person in the forum to find these but I thought I'd share, especially as the forum buffs are sold out I believe*. I searched Amazon and found credencial stamp ones, muted shell ones, map ones, cartoon ones ... all camino themed. Have a look at them here. The top one...
Hi - I have seen there are lots of buff fans here so I went to look online. There are alot of buff style items out there but is it better to go with the actual Buff brand?
Thanks!
Hello,
I learned about this beloved buff thing from forum members. Sounds very useful for warmth in winter. Any benefits during the summer, though? I'll already have a sun hat (wide brim) so the only use I can think of is an eye mask, which doesn't justify an addition to my "light" packing...
...are for sale outside the Resources part of the forum.
However as far as I know they do not stop me suggesting you look there for the Camino Buff.

I would love to put in another order by May so that people who are walking in the summer/fall will have them.

Hi all,
I have just created a new section in the Camino Resources area for Camino Equipment. We already have one product there, the Camino Buff project that @LTfit is organizing.
Have a look at this new section here...
Custom designed Camino de Santiago Graffiti Buff
On March 13th I purchased Albergue Villares de Orbigo on the Camino Francés and 2 days later I had to close my doors due to the Corona virus. I had exactly two days to welcome pilgrims! It is almost surreal - no clicking of walking sticks or the...
Can you give me a reason why I should take a buff?
I wear a long sleeved hiking shirt with collar and a hat with brim. So I don't need it to keep the sun off my neck. However, I understand they have more uses - can be used as a headband, scarf in cold weather etc.
In my thinking if I took the...
Dear travellers, never underestimate the importance and versatility of a buff.
Bev's camino buff saved the day last April!!
I was suffering from some particularly sore thigh chafing and at my wits end when I looked at Bev's buff and realised it could double as a leg-protecter. With my other...
