Researching my way to Ferrol from A Coruna...Prices for the trip look comparable ( a few Euro diff ) by train vs bus....wondering which is more pleasant ? Time is not an issue as we are only setting out to walk the following day. Thanking all in advance for their advice/opinion :)

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

I tend to prefer train to bus. But in this case, I always take the bus. There are more buses daily. The train schedule for this route is quite limited. In any case, both stations are very close to each other in A Coruña. You can easily walk from one to the other, if you need to.

Go to the bus station A Coruna and If you catch an early bus to Ferrol (it didn't take very long). So you will be able to get your first days walk and an evening meal in Naron at the Kensington and board there too.

By bus you'll see some of where you'll be walking. I've done both and prefer the bus on this route...

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Bus.

IIRC I set of to catch the first bus only to find that there was an additional earlier bus than on the timetable. It doesn’t take long and is practically free.

I know, old thread but I want to say that in Ferrol the two stations are adjacent so the arrival location shouldn't factor into your choice.
