Amigos Welcome Service 2014

JohnnieWalker

Nunca se camina solo
Hola

This year 58 fabulous volunteers have donned Amigos T shirts and are welcoming pilgrims as they arrive in Santiago. They come in all ages and all shapes and sizes. Some speak Spanish and other languages fluently. Some are learning. Two things they all have in common: they are all experienced pilgrims who have gained at least one Compostela and they all have huge hearts and warm smiles. They are all members of the participating organisations. The pictures tell the story: www.johnniewalker-santiago.blogspot.comAmigos1.jpg Amigo Brad.jpg

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
JW,
I remember when we were last together you mentioned the Amigo program had sufficient sponsors to make it a go. Well, saludos to you and all those that make this volunteer service available to past, present and future pilgrims. One more example of Camino magic. Can't wait for the next organ recital.
God Bless my friend,
Arn
